The Philosophy Department and the Center for Ethics and Public
Affairs at Tulane University announce a Research Fellowship for
an outstanding scholar in Moral, Social or Political Philosophy
for the Spring (Jan-May) of 2003. Preference is for a candidate
who will spend the semester in residence, and who is willing to
teach one seminar on his or her research. Accommodations for a
shorter visit may be made for exceptional candidates. The
Fellowship involves a significant financial element, depending on
the Fellow's need. Normally support for Americans on sabbatical
will match the contributions of their university; arrangements
for others will be negotiated. Fellowship includes fares to and
from New Orleans. For further information please contact Gerald
Gaus as ggaus@tulane.edu
