Mori, ma bozonule!

Asa, din ce-am vazut pe bloguri, se pare ca s-au dat si la teve chestii cu bozonii si LHC-ul si alte alea. Noi recunoastem sincer ca nu ne pricepem.

Tot ce-am inteles e ca fizicienii tind sa unifice fenomenele. Adica pentru ei e superfain daca reusesti sa explici o multime de fenomene diferite prin aceleasi legi. Cica si Newton a facut asta, cand a explicat prin aceleasi legi si caderea merelor si miscarea planetelor si mareele si alte cateva lucrusoare.

Internet – The Next Step?

A few days ago we were reading this post on how could the Large Hadron Collider change the Internet. In short, the author’s point was this. In 1990 CERN created the World Wide Web as a response to the scientists’ needs to exchange information. WWW has changed the face of the Internet.

Now, with the LHC, scientists’ needs have changed. New problems arise. The answer to these new problems might, as the WWW did, revolutionize the Internet one more time.
