Saturday Noon Concert (18): Beethoven – Piano Sonata No.18 in Eb, Op.31, No.3 ‘The Hunt’

We don’t know why this sonata is called ‘The Hunt’, but it wasn’t Beethoven’s idea. Anyway, would you believe that the guy who wrote the Fifth Symphony is the same guy who wrote something as playful and happy as this? 🙂 If you don’t know what we mean, listen for yourself:

    Bun, la cuncurs nu s-a prea raspuns. Dar daca tot e sa ne comportam ca o familie de bloguri, il contactez pe Gigi Stefanov la facultate.

    Deasemenea, am pus pe blog muzica moderna de un om care-i mort dupa Beethoven. Desi nu are geniul respectivului, se descurca in limitele posibilului, ceea ce cred ca e de urmarit de catre toata lumea.

    Si nu, nici eu nu stiu de ce se cheama “the hunt”. O fi pervers omu’ asta…

    can someone please find out why its called ‘the hunt’ there has to be a story behind it, or at least why did beethoven write this sonata. thanks!
